2026 Madison Street Festival Community Showcase Stage Application LinkedInThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.Community Showcase StageThank you for applying to be part of the Madison Street Festival (MSF) in downtown Madison, AL on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Application Acceptance and Approval Performer applications will only be accepted during the “Online Registration” period as described on the MSF website. MSF will receive ALL applications from potential performers during this process and close registration on July 15th. MSF will review all applications and you will be notified within 10 days of registration closure if you have been selected to perform. Incomplete applications will be returned for completion and re-submission. Only two (2) performances of the same type will be selected for the MSF Community Showcase Stage area due to high demand and limited time slots. Within 10 days of the close of registration (July 15th), performers will be notified of approval to perform in the festival. This notification will be sent by email. A Participation Agreement, Waiver, Indemnification, and Release of Liability document will follow, also by email. This document will need to be SIGNED electronically and returned by the date specified in the email. Upon receipt of the SIGNED agreement/waiver, your registration for the festival will be considered COMPLETE. COMMUNITY SHOWCASE RULES AND REGULATIONS: 1) Set-up information for all Community Showcase groups will be provided before the festival. 2) Performers who fail to comply with festival officials (including all MSF Committee Members, Madison City personnel, and MSF Volunteers) may be (a) removed from the festival, and/or (b) prohibited from participating in future festivals. 3) Only two (2) performers of the same type will be approved for the MSF Community Showcase Stage area. 4.) Each performance will have 20 minutes to set up, perform, and tear down. 5) Performers may NOT sell products or services, receive payments, donations, or exchange money in any form at the festival. Violators will be removed from the festival. 6) There is not a changing tent available for performers. All performers must arrive at the stage area ready to perform. 7) All selected Community Showcase performers will receive a Participation Agreement that must be signed and returned for their registration to be complete.
