    Rain or Shine Event. The festival will not be canceled or postponed due to rain or snow. Only in extreme inclement weather events will the festival be canceled or postponed. It is the responsibility of each vendor to be prepared for weather conditions.

    Communication Communication between the vendor and the MSF will be via email and/or phone. If a vendor does not have an email, he/she may check the MSF website for Festival updates and other information.

    Reservation of Rights The MSF reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual or organization. Applying to the festival does not ensure a party will be selected for participation. Participation in the Festival will be at the sole discretion of the MSF. The vendor accepts and agrees to this reservation of rights.

    Application Acceptance and Approval: Vendor applications will only be accepted during the “Online Registration” period as described on the MSF website. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date and time stamp assigned by the MSF Committee. Incomplete applications will be returned for completion and re-submission. Resubmitted applications will receive a new date and time stamp.

    Upon receipt of a COMPLETED application, vendors will be notified within approximately fifteen (15) calendar days of approval to participate in the festival. This notification will be by email. A Participation Agreement, Waiver, Indemnification, and Release of Liability document will follow, also by email. This document will need to be SIGNED AND RETURNED by the date specified in the email. Then an invoice will be emailed. Upon receipt of the agreement/waiver and payment, your spot in the festival will be considered COMPLETE.

    Applying to the festival does not ensure vendor participation. Participation in the Festival will be at the sole discretion of the MSF and in accordance with the “Reservation of Rights” of this application.

    CRAFTERS COVE RULES AND REGULATIONS

    1) All vendors must abide by the MSF Participation Agreement (PA). Breach of the PA will result in the cancellation of a vendor’s application, removal from the festival, and denial of the vendor’s application the following year. No refunds will be issued for breach of the PA.

    2) The following are VIOLATIONS THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED A BREACH OF THE PA:

    a) The day of the festival all vendor vehicles must be out of the festival area by 8:00 a.m. Vendors must park in designated parking areas only. Vehicles parked in the festival area after 8:00 a.m. will be towed at the owner’s expense.

    b) For each assigned booth space, no more than two (2) vehicles will be allowed to enter the festival area for vendor set-up and tear-down.

    c) Failure to comply with Traffic Officials (including all MSF Committee Members, Madison City personnel, and MSF Volunteers) may result in vendor (1) removal from the festival, and/or (2) prohibition from participating in future festivals.

    d) All vendor exhibits must be fully contained in the assigned booth space. Exhibits larger than the booth space will be denied entry or removed from the festival.

    e) All vendors must remain open and present in their booth during festival hours and may not begin tear-down until the festival ends at 4:00 p.m. 3) Crafters Cove booth spaces are 12' wide x 10' deep and cost $100

    4) The MSF does not provide electricity and vendors are prohibited from using generators. No generators of any kind will be allowed at the festival in the Crafters Cove area.

    5) Original art, craft, and hobby work items designed, created, and HANDCRAFTED by the vendor are the only merchandise allowed to be sold as Crafters Cove items at the festival.

    6) No items that have been made with commercial kits, casts, molds, patterns, plans, or prefabricated pieces will be sold as Crafters Cove items at the festival, regardless of additional modification or enhancement by the vendor. No machine-made, commercially reproduced, or mass-produced items will be sold as Crafters Cove items at the festival, regardless of additional modification or enhancement by the vendor.

    7) No “buy/sell” items will be sold as Crafters Cove items at the festival, regardless of additional modification or enhancement by the vendor.

    8) Any item not meeting these requirements will be removed from the festival.

    9) Retailers, commercial agents, dealers, and manufacturers are prohibited from participating in the festival as Crafters Cove vendors.

    10) If you do not qualify as a Crafters Cove vendor, consider applying in the Business Showcase area.

    11) An approved Crafters Cove vendor will receive a liability waiver that must be signed and returned, then they will receive an invoice for their booth.
