MSF Parade Registration

Be part of one of Madison’s favorite traditions—the Madison Street Festival Parade! The parade officially kicks off the festival at 9:00 AM as participants make their way through Historic Downtown Madison along Church Street, Front Street, and Sullivan Street before concluding at Madison Elementary School.

We invite schools, community organizations, businesses, dance teams, cheer squads, mascots, and groups of all kinds to join us in celebrating the spirit of our community. Decorate your float, bring your energy, and help us create a memorable parade experience for thousands of festival attendees!

Parade registration is open through August 31, 2026. All parade entries must be submitted by the deadline to participate.

Parade Guidelines

• All parade entries must maintain continuous forward motion throughout the parade route.
• Adults must supervise children participating on floats or in parade entries.
• Music must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
• Floats and entries should celebrate community, creativity, and togetherness.
• Equestrian teams must have prior parade experience, and riders must maintain control of their horses at all times. Unsafe animals will be removed from the parade.

After the parade, join us at the Church Street Stage for the MSF Opening Ceremonies as we officially begin another exciting Madison Street Festival!
