To our wonderful attendees and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we find ourselves making this post. As everyone is aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in incalculable ways. We, as a committee and as a large group of volunteers, have had you all on our minds during these unique times. After much thought, and with the wellbeing of the potential attendees in the forefront, we have decided that it would be best to not hold a festival this year.
It was not a decision that came easy and much debate was held among both the Executive Committee and the volunteers who graciously give their time to the Madison Street Festival. A number of factors went into our decision, including the costs and logistics of properly protecting our patrons by being able to maintain our standards, while implementing social distancing and more stringent cleaning measure.
Our team focused on our patrons and providing an experience that has kept patrons returning to our festival year after year. It is with deep regret that we will be unable to provide that to our patrons in 2020.
We are now working toward planning for the 2021 festival. We hope to see you all there.
